phantomjs software package provides minimalistic headless WebKit-based with JavaScript API, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install phantomjs
phantomjs is installed in your system.
Make ensure the phantomjs package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep phantomjs *
You will get with phantomjs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
